Document Verification Process Initiated for Candidates in Consideration Zone for Accounts Assistant Post

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has commenced the next phase of the selection process for the post of Accounts Assistant in the Finance Department, UT Cadre, as per Notification No. JKSSB COEOEXAM (UT)/105/2023-03 (7372799) dated February 9, 2024, following the declaration of the result/score-sheet for the OMR Based Written Examination conducted on January 28, 2024.

In a recent announcement, candidates falling under the consideration zone for the Accounts Assistant position, as outlined in Annexure A of the aforementioned notification, have been summoned to appear physically before the designated Document Verification Committees established by the Board. The objective behind this step is to ensure the thorough scrutiny and verification of their original documents and certificates.

Candidates are required to present the following documents in original along with self-attested copies before the designated Document Verification Committee(s):

1. Copy of Online Application Form(s).

2. Two passport size recent color photographs.

3. Original photo ID Proof (Aadhar card/Voter Card/Pan Card/Passport, etc.).

4. Date of Birth Certificate (10 Diploma/Marks card).

5. Valid Category Certificate for reserved categories.

6. Domicile Certificate.

7. 10+2 Marks Sheet/Diploma.

8. Graduation Degree & Marks Card from a recognized University meeting the specified marks criteria.

9. Bonafide certificate as per the prescribed format by the Board for qualifications obtained outside the UT of J & K.

10. Checklist sheet/form as detailed in Annexure B.

11. Any other documents as required by the Advertisement Notification.

12. For Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates: Discharge Certificate from the Armed Forces and ESM certificate issued by the Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO).

It is essential for candidates to adhere to the scheduled document verification dates. Failure to appear before the respective Document Verification Committee(s) on the designated dates will lead to forfeiture of the right to selection for the post.

The initiation of the document verification process marks a significant milestone in the selection journey for candidates vying for the Accounts Assistant role within the Finance Department, UT Cadre.
