Winter Vacation in Kashmir 2023

Winter vacations have been ordered for all Government Schools and recognized Private Schools upto Higher Secondary Level in Kashmir Division and Winter zone of Jammu Division as per the following schedule:

Classes upto 5th standard: 1st December, 2023 to 1st March 2024

Classes 6th to 8th standard: 12 December, 2023 to 1st March 2024

Classes 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th standard: 19th December, 2023 to 1st March 2024

Additional orders:

Teaching staff of High and Higher Secondary Schools shall report back to their respective schools on 29th February, 2024 to make arrangements for upcoming exams.

All teachers shall remain available on demand for any online guidance of students during vacation period.

Any default by Head of Schools/Teaching staff in observance of the schedule will attract strict action under Rules.
