JKPSI (Provisional) Provisional List


The Provisional Selection List of the candidates selected for the posts of Sub-Inspector, Police (Home Department), UT Cadre, advertised vide Notification No 06 of 2021 dated 21.10.2021, read with Notice No SSB/Secy//2021/7926-42 dated 24.11.2021, is hereby notified as per Annexure-A to this Notification. It is further notified that:

(i) This Provisional Selection List shall be subject to the outcome of the OAS/Writ Petition(s), if any, pending in the competent court of law.
(ii) This shall also be subject to the outcome of any pending enquiry involving candidate(s), figuring in this Provisional Selection List.

(iii) This is a Provisional List and shall be subject to the changes as per the objections as may be received against it and mere figuring in it shall not confer any right to selection, which shall be finalized after examination of the objections based on merit.

(iv) In case any candidate/s is aggrieved with this Provisional Selection List or desires to submit any documents/certificates w.r.t. to his/her withheld recommendation, he/she may represent through the email address sihome1200@gmail.com within five days from the date of this Notification, beyond which no representations whatsoever shall be entertained. The email in this regard shall necessarily include complete details of the candidate including Name, Address, Roll Number and Contact Number.

(v) The candidates, as figuring in Annexure-B to this Notification, shall report to the Medical Board at respective District Hospital/GMC, as per the details indicated against each, for their Medical Examination w.e.f. 30.12.2023. The Ex-Servicemen candidates shall also produce their Discharge Book before the respective Medical Board.
(vi). Mere calling for medical examination shall not confer any right to selection to the candidates.

Whereas the objections received in response to the Provisional Answer Key were examined and the revised/final answer key in respect of written examination held for the said post has been notified vide No JKSSB-COEOEXAMUT/86/2023-03 7312349 dated 24-12-2023

Whereas, the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB), notified Provisional Answer Key vide No. JKSSB-COEOEXAM(UT)/86/2023-03 (7312349) dated: 10-12-2023, in respect of the aforesaid post and the same was uploaded on the official website of JKSSB (www.jkssb.nic.in) for information of the candidates and seeking of objections/representations on the prescribed proforma, if any from the candidates; and

Whereas, in response to aforesaid notice, 89 objections were received in respect of 14 unique questions within the stipulated time; and

Whereas, in view of the above, the revised/final answer key in respect of written examination held for the post of Panchayat Secretary has been finalized.

Selection Board to Conduct Exams for Accounts Assistant Post

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) recently announced that it will be conducting written exams for the role of Accounts Assistant (Finance) on January 28th, 2024. The OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) based exams will be held in one session from 12 PM to 2 PM across various districts of the Jammu and Kashmir divisions. 



In preparation for the transparent and fair conduct of these exams, the JKSSB has requested the cooperation of the Divisional and District Administrations who have always played a key role in organizing such selection exams. Specific guidelines have already been established by the General Administration Department for the smooth functioning of these exams across authorized exam venue centers.

The JKSSB has released the list of district-wise exam venues and the candidates scheduled to appear for the exams across the Jammu and Kashmir divisions. They have further floated a tender inviting proposals from interested firms/agencies for supplying and installing CCTV cameras across exam centers to ensure transparency.

The successful conduct of this Accounts Assistant exam by the JKSSB will be crucial for recruiting capable professionals into the state financial machinery. With the Divisional and District leadership extending the required support, it will significantly strengthen the overall selection process and allow for merit-based outcomes.
