Result of Driving Test for the posts of Driver/ Tractor Driver, in different Cadres / Departments in pursuance to Advertisement Notification Nos. 04, 05, 06 07 of 2020 & 01, 02, 03 of 2021 under various item Nos.

Whereas, in pursuance to the Advertisement Notification Nos. 04, 05, 06, 07 of 2020 & 01, 02, 03 of 2021, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board notified phase-wise driving test for various posts of Driver / Tractor Driver, in different Cadres/ Departments, in respect of 16280 candidates (Jammu based 9003 and Kashmir based 7277 candidates), 

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board vide Notification No. SSB/Secy/Driver/2021/6375-87, dated: 27-09-2021, issued schedule of driving test (first phase) w.e.f. 04-10-2021 onwards at State Motor Garages, New Plot, Jammu (Jammu Venue based candidates) and at State Motor Garages, Bemina, Srinagar (Kashmir Venue based candidates), for the above said posts of Driver/Tractor Driver, and; Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board vide Notification No. SSB/Secy/Driver/2021/7728-41, dated 18-11-2021, issued a revised schedule for conduct of driving test w.e.f 25-11-2021 onwards, and;

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board issued Notification No. SSB/Secy/Driver/2021/8975-87, dated: 22-12-2021, for final phase driving test w.e.f. 01-01-2022 onwards at State Motor Garages, New Plot, Jammu and State Motor Garages, Bemina, Srinagar respectively, and;

Whereas, the Board vide this office Notice Nos. SSB/Secy/Driver/2022/4837-43, dated: 20-06-2022, and SSB/Secy/Driver/2022/5055-61, dated: 01-07-2022, issued the supplementary dates for driving test for those candidates who had missed their Driving Test earlier due to various reasons,

Now, therefore, in view of the above and based on the performance of candidates in the Driving Test, the candidates figuring in Annexure “A” (Jammu Based Candidates) and Annexure “B” (Kashmir Based Candidates) to this notification, are hereby declared to have qualified the aforesaid Driving Test for the post of Driver / Tractor Driver, in different Cadres / Departments in pursuance to the Advertisement Nos. 04, 05, 06, 07 of 2020 & 01, 02, 03 of 2021, under various Item Nos. Further, it is also notified for the information of all the candidates figuring in Annexure  “A” and “B”, that the dates for conduct of Written Test for the said posts shall be notified separately. 

It is further notified that: 

(i) Mere figuring in the result sheet shall not entitle a candidate to be called for next stage or appear in the Select List and that he has to fulfil other eligibility conditions as laid down and decision of the Board in this regard shall be final.

(ii) Any candidate desirous of making representation with regard to the result sheet, may represent before the Board by or before 05th November, 2022. Such representations shall be disposed of in accordance with the extant Rules.

(iii) In case, no representation is received, the result sheet as notified shall be treated as final. Further, the Board also reserves the right to make any corrections / changes in the records at any later date as may be found necessary suo motto or on the request of the candidate(s) on the basis of documentary evidence, if any.
